Hello! My name is Eric Steingesser, and I’m the owner of Green Machine Lawns. We proudly serve homeowners and properties throughout Harford County and Baltimore County, Maryland.

Green Machine Lawns began back in 2010 as a venture between two friends — myself and Robert. At the time, we were simply looking for a way to earn some extra income. We both already had years of experience working in the landscaping and lawn care field for other companies, so we asked ourselves: why not build something of our own?

We started small — with just a push mower sticking out of the trunk of my Toyota Camry, showing up to cut lawns with a small mower and a big work ethic. From those humble beginnings, Green Machine Lawns grew quickly through hard work, repeat customers, and word of mouth.

What started as a basic mowing company eventually expanded into a full operation with commercial equipment, multiple service offerings, and a large customer base throughout the area. We built our reputation by focusing on what many companies overlook: the customer experience.

Today, Green Machine Lawns is no longer the new company on the block or the small startup trying to get noticed. While Robert has since moved on, I continue to lead Green Machine with the same drive and standards that started it all.

I’m always looking for new ways to improve the business — whether that means better equipment, smarter systems, faster communication, cleaner results, or new services that help our customers. I believe customer service is the true difference-maker in this industry.

Too many companies focus only on getting in and getting out as fast as possible. Our mindset is different. We take the time to listen, communicate clearly, and make sure the customer is happy with the result. If that means spending extra time to do the job right, that’s what we do.

After many successful seasons serving Harford and Baltimore County, Green Machine Lawns has become a familiar name in neighborhoods throughout the communities we proudly work in. That trust means everything to me.
